Maybe this could be interesting:
If you got your build runnnig you can make an update.zip for updates with "TARGET_NO_RADIOIMAGE=true make otapackage". Then you don't have to flash every single image again...

hi,all , i'v got all G_Apps."framework" and "permissoins" files,and i pushed all them to Android SDK (1.6) by manual,but when i run Android market or gtalk ...there was always prompt 'fouce close' message,any one know why? any help will be deeply appreciation!

Hi, great post. Have your blog bookmarked it provided some great help getting android to run on a MIPS based Tv system. Bit of topic I know .. anyway came across a tool called "unyaffs". website is http://unyaffs.googlecode.com. Provides an easier way to extract data from a yaffs(2) image.

When you got the source from the cupcake-release branch (or cupcake). Did you apply patch 10889/4?

repo download platform/vendor/htc/dream-open 10889/4

This patch updates the extract-files.sh and AndroidBoard.mk for the proprietary files as written in the getting the source blogpost.

If you use the donut branch, they you can use patch 10920 which I uploaded today

repo download platform/vendor/htc/dream-open 10920

Johan seems there is lots of missing proprietary files, I ve compared my build with htc build and added missing files manually. Audio is working fine now.

Simply my dev phone is all silent now, it does not ring at all, no music could be heard... etc. Only front speaker is working so I can hear calls. I have tried both kernel 2.6.25 and 2.6.27 with the latest cupcake branch.

I have my cupcake build working fine, my only issue with speaker now. I have all proprietary files included. Someone else had similar issue or have an idea how to resolve this ?
